Lental maps: common questions
- Which Pokémon games are set in Lental?
- 1 game is set in Lental: New Pokémon Snap. Each one draws the region differently, so the map you want is the one for the game you are playing.
- Is the Lental map the same in every game?
- No. Lental is redrawn every generation, and the wild Pokémon, items and trainers change with it. That is why every game here has its own map rather than sharing one picture with notes attached.
- How many places are there in Lental?
- 24 distinct towns, routes, caves and buildings across the 1 game. All of them are clickable, with their wild Pokémon, items and trainers already marked.
- Can you explore Lental freely?
- No. Every course is a fixed route your vehicle follows, so a Lental map is a record of where each Pokémon appears along that flight rather than somewhere you can walk.
- Which Lental map should I use?
- Use the one for the game you are playing. If you only want to look at the region, the map at the top of this page is New Pokémon Snap, which is the version most people are searching for.
